2012 KEN WRIGHT PINOT NOIR "WILLAMETTE VALLEY"
$23.99 BTL./$287.88 CASE

Ken Wright's 2012 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is an unabashed, full-flavored charmer that walks the line between the dark side and vibrancy of Oregon Pinot Noir. Aromas of crushed blackberry, blossom and cinnamon shine brightly from the glass. Stylishly flavored with an abundance of penetrating fruit along with subtle structure; the finish is warm and crowd-pleasing with hints of allspice and cocoa. A delightful Pinot that will pair wonderfully with veal chops, roasted poultry or pan-seared steak. Drink over the next 3-4 years.

2010 KEN WRIGHT "TYRUS EVAN" WALLA WALLA SYRAH SEVEN HILLS VINEYARD
$34.99 BTL./$209.94 - SIX PACK CASE

Ken Wright's Tyrus Evan project is designed to create top wines other than Pinot Noirs. Sourced from Walla Walla's fabulous Seven Hills Vineyard and follows exactly what vintage 2010 has brought to Walla Walla and Washington – top-notch, full-bodied, well-structured wines that have underlying refinement, briskness and big potential for cellaring.

Thrilling varietal characteristics reveal generous, velvety black cherry, plum, coffee bean and licorice scents that vault from the glass and are followed by virtual swirled-in nuances of white pepper and tea-smoke as the wine opens in the glass. Sultry, fine, layered and mouth-filling good with kisses of Washington dustiness and Asian spice which come forth the expansive finish that stains the entire palate. Somewhat irresistible now, it will perform and develop mightily through 2022.

2012 KEN WRIGHT CHARDONNAY "CELILO VINEYARD"
$27.99 BTL./$335.88 CASE

Ken Wright Celilo Chardonnay. Oregon winery - Washington fruit. The Celilo Vineyard is one of the northwest's top sites for Chardonnay as witnessed by the brilliance of Woodward Canyon, Abeja and others. The vines for this offering are from the oldest parcels planted in 1983 and coupled with the quality of Washington's 2011 white wines, the complexity is splendid.

Cool aromas of wind-swept orange, pear, anise, and a very tiny dollop of vanilla waft from the glass. The texture is seductive, addictive, creamy, rich and buffered nicely by vivid lemony tones which hold on through to the full, ripe and long finish. This wine is a drink now but having experienced older versions from this site it has propensity to age well, too.

….plus one more Ken Wright surprise that you'll have to stop by to find out and taste!
